Shout out to Jason, he’s smarter than we give him credit for.
And he’s people smart too.
People always talk about book smart and street smart, but everyone forgets about people smart.
Jason knows his friends, and he pays attention to them. He knows when something is off with them, and he knows exactly what to say to help them.
That’s why he noticed something was up with Janet.
Honestly, as an agender person who gets misgendered a lot, this part was genuinely heartwarming. He wasn’t just like “I guess she’s cool with it now” he was like “my girlfriend would never, who the fuck is this?”
